We used our trusty coconut blend for a heavenly ice creamy texture, and mixed it with the best organic mango puree & passionfruit juice to create a pint of summer sunsets. We put the creaminess back in ice cream.

GOOD TO KNOW

Coco Frost Mango & Passionfruit contains unrefined coconut blossom sugar. It’s said to be one of the best types of sugar out there, but it’s still sugar. We’d have preferred not to have used any sugar in our Coco Frost, but as far as we know, it’s not possible to make naturally ‘scoopable’ ice cream without some sort of sugar. So we went for unrefined coconut blossom sugar and even then, we only use a small amount to ensure a great texture.

Coconut milk contains saturated fats and these make you feel full nice and quickly. 110ml (two scoops) should be plenty for the average ice cream eater.

Coco Frost Vanilla is naturally free from dairy, gluten and soya. So it’s suitable for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores everywhere.

We’d have preferred not to have used any sugar in our Coco Frost, but as far as we know, it’s not possible to make naturally ‘scoopable’ ice cream without some sort of sugar. So we went for organic cane sugar and glucose syrup (mix of corn & agave) and even then, we only use a small amount to ensure a great texture.

As you might have noticed, we have recently changed our source of sweetener for our Coco Frosts ice creams. The main reason being that using a blend of cane sugar & glucose syrup really helps to get a smoother production process, because it has a higher 'dry component' in the total ingredient mix.

We don't use anything we don't like, and we already have good experiences with using these organic sweeteners to make ice cream, as we have always used them for our Frosticks. And, on top of that, cane sugar is a safer use regarding allergens. How sweet is that?
