Your brain capacity thrives on new language skills. Learning a second language teaches you to think more deeply and it can even improve your overall intelligence.
Did you know that it even improves your first language? When you are busy learning a new language, you become more conscious of the ins and outs of your own language. It is also a great memory booster. Memorising new words and grammar activates your brain.
And don't worry, you don't have to learn a new language over night, starting is easy:
Open a world map, close your eyes, and point at the map. Look up how they say “good morning” in that countries’ language. From now on choose a new word every morning at breakfast and let your fingers point a destination. This way you will learn more about world topography and language in one.
