Day 20: Start listening to your alarm

You snooze, you lose

Snoozing: many people do it every morning even though they know it is not good for them. The saying “you snooze, you lose” actually means your brain is the loser. Snoozing screws up your brain a little bit, because it disturbs the process of falling asleep and waking up, and mostly leaves you more tired.

So, time to wake up!

If you know you're a snoozer, estimate your 'snoozing time', add it up to your wake-up time, and set your alarm latest you can. Include the time you usually snooze, but now wake up immediately. If you need some help: put your alarm somewhere out of arm-reach from your bed, this will force you to physically get out of your bed to turn it off.

Then go straight to the bathroom, and your day can begin!

Want to go the extra mile? Take a cold shower ;-) Or set your alarm much earlier to enjoy a run in the blue hour. Your call!
